Meghan Limbrick . Designer

I am a designer/maker based in Brighton, UK. When I was younger I spent my time making tiny notebooks and being extremely interested in spies, Ancient Egypt and the work of the multi-skilled artist Kit Williams. My ideas often manifest themselves in 3D form with an element of interaction. I studied Illustration at the University of Brighton and graduated in July 2009.

In the future I hope to have engaged all of my metaphorical fingers in a complex variety of successful pies. Please contact me if you have any suggestions or comments to this end.

You can follow my latest work, collaborations, products and discoveries on my blog.

Another project with Kyle. This one that I have been helping with is set to be a prop in a window at Liberty. It is basically a really scary lifesize mannequin which we have covered in cardboard armour. The cardboard is coated in images from a fashion photography book which Liberty is promoting. I’m not quite sure what they were aiming at when they asked for this thing, because I cant personally see much linking the subject matter with a sinister crouching creature. The mannequin underneath is made from quite soft felt covered foam on a wire frame, so it was freakishly soft as well as being lifesize!
